Meet Chèz

BEd (P-10), DipCouns, Certified Positive Discipline Facilitator

In the spirit of accepting parental missteps, Chéz acknowledges the name her own not-French parents gave her is tricky to pronounce (it’s ‘Shay’). Don’t worry, she’s fine with however you say it.

Chéz's a Mum, teacher, counsellor and parenting educator. She has over a decade of experience working in schools, as well as her lived experience of raising two beautiful girls who ensure she continues to hone her craft. A self-confessed imperfect parent, Chèz helps you feel understood and in good company if you’ve ever thought you’re off track with the parent you want to be.

Her genuine warmth coupled with her knowledgeable guidance helps parents feel safe and supported to make sustainable and positive changes. When working with Chéz, you’ll immediately feel like hope is on the horizon.

Chéz’s formal training is in primary education, counselling, child development, evidenced-based parenting practices, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and positive discipline. She applies a client centred, collaborative approach that is compassionate, authentic and goal-oriented.

“The parenting experience is full of ups and downs and unexpected twisty turns! For many parents it can quickly become a dark and gloomy ride of survival where we feel lost and unsure about how to change things. If you’d like to experience Brighter Days in your parenting journey, I’d be honoured to help you.”
